Superintendent Kathy Goff

Kathy Goff has served as Glasgow Independent’s Superintendent since 2008. Prior to coming to Glasgow, Ms. Goff worked for the Kentucky Department of Education as a District Achievement Gap Coordinator. Before working for the Department of Education, she worked in Warren County Schools as a high school principal at Warren Central, elementary principal at Richardsville Elementary, and assistant principal at Henry Moss Middle School. She began her teaching career in Butler County where she taught elementary and middle school students.

Ms. Goff is a graduate of Murray State University and Western Kentucky University. She currently holds a Rank I in School Administration, but plans to return to school and complete her doctorate. She is married to Cecil, and they have four children, Cecilia, Jim, Leslie, and Chase.



Ms. Hudson has served as Glasgow Independent’s Director of Special Education since 1990 and along the way her title was changed to Director of Special Services and Programs to reflect the many programs she oversees, not just special education. Prior to coming to Glasgow, she earned her Rank I and Rank II in Music Education, Elementary Education and Special Education and then her Administrative degree at the University of Kentucky. She taught music (k-8), elementary ed. (6th grade) and special education (k-8) also before coming to Glasgow. During her teaching career, she was named Teacher of the Year in two different school districts on three occasions at the school level and once at the district level.

Sharon Ritter


Sharon Ritter has served as Glasgow Independent’s Instructional Supervisor since 2003. She has served in a myriad of positions in her career. Sharon Reeves started her career as a middle school English teacher in Union City, TN. Seven years later she moved to Paducah and continued her career as a middle school teacher and also served as middle school basketball coach in McCracken County. From there she went on to serve as a high school guidance counselor and eventually served as a middle and high school principal in the Ballard County School System. Sharon has one daughter, Kelly, who has just begun her fourth year as an English teacher in Rutherford County, TN.


Randy Wilkinson's has served as Glasgow Independent’s DPP since 2007. Wilkinson is a 1976 graduate of Glasgow High School. He graduated from Western Kentucky University in 1980 and began teaching in the Glasgow School system in 1981 where he taught science for 13 years. He served as the assistant basketball coach from 1980-1994 and Wilkinson was the girls tennis coach for 13 years and cross country coach for 6 years. Before becoming the DPP he served as the assistant principal at GMS for 4 years and as the GMS principal for 8 years.
