Jerry Ream, Chairman
Mr. Ream has served on the Glasgow Board of Education since January, 1991 and was elected chairman in January, 2001. Mr. Ream graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1963. He is a member and past president of Glasgow Rotary and a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the Kentucky Army National Guard. Mr. Ream has represented Met Life in south central Kentucky since 1969 and is a member of the Glasgow Little League Board.
 
LaDonna Rogers

Ms. Rogers has been a member of the Glasgow Independent School Board since January 2001.  She is a 1985 graduate of Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor degree in Mass Communications.  Currently the Director of Human Resources at T.J. Samson Community Hospital, Rogers has fifteen plus years of Human Resource experience.  Ms. Rogers is a member of First Christian Church in Glasgow.  Ms. Rogers and her husband, John, have three children, Guinn, Katherine and John Thomas are all students at Glasgow High School.

 

Ms. Elaine Richardson

Ms. Richardson began serving on the board in January, 2003.  She is a 1966 graduate of Glasgow High School and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kentucky, and a Master of Arts degree from Western Kentucky University.  Ms. Richardson taught biology and chemistry at Glasgow High School until she retired in 1998.  She is married to Bobby Richardson, a local attorney, and they have one son, Clay.  

 
 
Dr. Amelia Rigdon Kiser

Dr. Kiser graduated from Glasgow High School in 1988 as Valedictorian and then attended Georgetown College where she played Varsity basketball and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Science. Dr. Kiser graduated from the University of Louisville, School of Medicine in 1996 and served as an intern and resident at St. Elizabeth Medical Center.

Dr. Kiser is committed to the mission of Glasgow Independent Schools and understands the value of providing superior educational opportunities to the children in the Glasgow community. Because of the great educational experiences she had as a student in Glasgow schools, Dr. Kiser wants to give back to the school system by serving as a board member. As a parent, Dr. Kiser is very involved with her children’s education and feels that she can be instrumental in the education of many other children by contributing in this way. She is excited to have the opportunity to serve the community in this capacity.

Dr. Kiser and her husband, Dr. Kyle Kiser, M.D., have two children, Olivia who is a 6th grade student at Glasgow Middle School and Stratton Riley who is a Kindergarten student at Highland Elementary.

 

Mr. Chris Lawrence

Mr. Lawrence began serving on the board in January, 2007. Mr. Lawrence is a 1985 graduate of Glasgow High School and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree from the University of Kentucky. Mr. Lawrence is currently employed by South Central Rural Telephone Cooperative. He earned his CPA license in 1996. He is married to Kelly Powell Lawrence and they have two children Emmalee (a student at South Green Elementary) and Ella Kate.
