2018 Highland Jump Rope For Heart Information and Incentives

It is Jump Rope for Heart time again. This year we have once again set our goal at $10,000. This would just take each student raising $20.00 to help the American Heart Association. This would take each student asking 4 people for a $5 donation to help out this organization. The last 5 years we have been one of the top money raisers for our area for the American Heart Association. We would like to keep that status.

To participate in this event your student must have his/her permission section  located on the envelope signed, and collect at least $1 for this great cause.  Please keep permission slip out of the envelope so your child can give it to their homeroom teacher.

This year the American Heart Association is giving monsters as thank you gifts. They will receive their first monster, Jax, after they have received at least a $5 in donation. Just sign the coupon and send it to their teacher. This year any student that registers online will receive a “Scare Squad wristband”, then will be able to earn Charger with any online donation and Disco for $40 or more. These will all be given as soon as I receive a notice from AHA. Please read the letter that was sent home with envelope for instructions on how to get online donations.

All money is due on the day of the event February 14, 2018. Thank you gifts (prizes) will be awarded after all money has been turned in to the school or turned in to the American Heart Association. The only exceptions are, the Jax with the coupon that is on the envelope, the wristband, and Charger and Disco for the online registration and donations.

Individual: Every student that raises enough money to earn a playground ball will have get a chance to slime a teacher.

Class: The homeroom class that earns the most money will earn an extra day of PE with the game of their choice.

Thank you for your support. Let’s make this year the best ever!!!!!!
